Schulenburg Police Report Troy Brenek reports on the following incidents his department responded to during the week of Nov. 28 through Dec. 4.

Agency Assist

On Dec. 4, Sgt. Tobey McFadden was asked to public service a Houston police Sgt. In reference to a case he was working that began in Schulenburg.

Animal Complaint

On Dec. 2, Officer Juan Castilleja responded to the 1000 block of Anderson in reference to some stray cats caught in a trap. Officer took the cats to the city pound where they were released.

On Dec. 2, Castilleja was dispatched to the 200 block of South St. in reference to loose animals.

On Dec. 4, McFadden responded to the 400 block of Anderson for a loose dog scarring customers.

Accident

On Nov. 28, Castilleja was dispatched to the 200 block of College in reference to a minor accident. No injuries and information was exchanged.

Civil Matter

On Nov. 29, Officer Duane Meagher responded to the 600 block of Upton in regard to a civil matter over a court order.

On Nov. 29, Meagher spoke with individual in regard to a court order for picking up child. Officer advised her to contact the court as soon as possible and advise of the situation.

Disturbance

On Dec. 3, Officer Frank Parkinson responded to East Ave. for a disturbance.

Runaway On Dec. 1, Vincent was dis

On Dec. 1, Vincent was dispatched to the 700 block of Kessler for a juvenile leaving home without parent’s permission.

Suspicious Vehicle

On Nov. 18, Officer Chris Kalina responded to the 600 block of West for a vehicle parked in front of complainants house. Officer checked the area but did not locate the vehicle.

Traffic Stop

On Nov. 30, Meagher stopped a vehicle in the 100 block of Kessler for a vehicle speeding in a school zone going 37 in a 25. Citation was issued.

On Nov. 30, Meagher stopped a vehicle in the 100 block of Kessler for speeding in a school zone going 38 in a 25. A citation was issued.

Dec. 1, Vincent stopped a vehicle in the 200 block of Kessler for speeding. A warning was issued.

On Dec. 1, Sgt. Rusty Roggenkamp stopped a vehicle in the 100 block of Kessler for speeding.

On Dec. 2, Vincent stopped a vehicle in the 200 block of Kessler for speeding.

On Dec. 2, Vincent stopped a vehicle in the 100 block of Kessler for a vehicle with a defective tail lamp. Driver was issued a warning.

On Dec. 3, Parkinson stopped a vehicle on Hwy. 77 and I-10 for a vehicle that ran a stoplight.

On Dec. 3, McFadden stopped a vehicle in the 900 block of Kessler for speeding. A warning was issued.

On Dec. 3, McFadden stopped a vehicle in the 100 block of Kessler for displaying one license plate. Warning was issued.

On Dec. 3, McFadden stopped a vehicle in the 100 block of Kessler for speeding.

On Dec. 3, McFadden stopped a vehicle in the 100 block of Kessler for speeding in a school zone. A citation was issued.

Terroristic Threat

On Dec. 4, McFadden responded to the 500 block of College for a student that made a threat to shoot other students at school during a fight.

Welfare Check

On Dec. 4, Parkinson was dispatched to the 1500 block of Kellett to check on a subject and to see if she was taking her medications.

Warrant Arrest

On Dec. 2, Kalina stopped a vehicle at Pilot in the 700 block of N. Kessler due to a strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. The occupant was arrested on a warrant.
