Schulenburg Police Report
Schulenburg Police Report Troy Brenek reports on the following incidents his department responded to during the week of Nov. 14-20.
Animal Complaint
On Nov. 14, Officer Hailee Vincent was dispatched to the 1200 block of Eilers to the city cemetery in reference to a deer that was stuck on a fence. Game warden handled it.
On Nov. 14, Vincent was dispatched to Creekwood for an animal complaint. Complainant advised three dogs were in her yard. Officer was unable to locate the dogs.
On Nov. 14, Vincent was dispatched to the 600 block of College in reference to a goat getting out of the pen.
On Nov. 16, Officer Frank Parkinson was dispatched to the 1300 block of Pierce for a pig in their yard. The owner’s dog jumped out of his cage and attacked the pig. Owners of the pig were located and picked it up
On Nov. 18, Officer Juan Castilleja responded to the 1800 block of Summit for a loose dog. Officer took possession of the dog and transported to the city pound. Shortly after making a Facebook post of the dog the owner was found.
On Nov. 18, Vincent responded to the 1300 block of Kellett for an opossum at complainants window. It was gone upon officers arrival. Complainant did not want traps set up because of her cats.
Agency Assist On Nov. 15, Officer Chris
On Nov. 15, Officer Chris Kalina responded to the area of the auction barn in the 700 block of US Hwy. 90 for a loose cow.
On Nov. 16, Parkinson assisted the Weimar police with a pursuit in the city. The suspect was apprehended.
Citizen Assist
On Nov. 16, Parkinson responded to the 100 block of Huser for an individual that could not get his key fob to grant him access to his vehicle after leaving the lights on for hours. Officer verified he was the owner and then unlocked the vehicle.
Civil Matter
On Nov. 19, Officer Duane Meager spoke with complaint who advised he was at the Schulenburg Police department to pick up his children from their mother. The mother has not shown up.
Disturbance
On Nov. 14, Kalina responded to the 1500 block of Kellett for a disturbance. Officer upon arrival did not observe any disturbance.

Suspicious Person/Vehicle
On Nov. 15, Sgt. Tobey McFadden responded to the 1600 block of James for a female going into a blue building at Wrights Park. Officer advised all was fine.
On Nov. 19, McFadden was dispatched to the 100 block of Huser for a suspicious person.
Traffic Stop
Nov 14, Kalina stopped a vehicle in the 600 block of Kessler and learned the drive had a warrant.
On Nov. 16, McFadden stopped a vehicle in the 100 block of Kessler and issued a citation for expired drivers license and no insurance.
On Nov. 17, Sgt. Rusty Roggenkamp stopped a vehicle for speeding in the 100 block of Kessler and the driver was issued a warning.
On Nov. 17, Roggenkamp conducted a traffic stop for a vehicle driving without headlights when required. A warning was issued
On Nov. 17, Roggenkamp conducted a traffic stop in the 300 block of Summit for disregarding the red light.
On Nov. 18, Castilleja conducted a traffic stop in the 100 block of Kessler for speeding in a school zone. A citation was issued.
On Nov. 18, Roggenkamp stopped a vehicle for speeding and a warning was issued.
On Nov. 18, Roggenkamp stopped a vehicle in the 100 block of a vehicle speeding in a school zone. Driver was issued a citation for speeding in a school zone and no drivers’ license.
On Nov. 18, Meagher conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for passing in a no passing zone in the 2000 block of S. Kessler. Driver did not have his drivers’ license with him. Driver had two passengers in the vehicle under the age of 21 both of who were not related. Driver had restrictions on his license so he was given a citation for that and for disregarding no passing zone.
On Nov. 19, Meagher stopped a vehicle in the 70 block of Kessler for speeding going 53 in a 40. Citation was issued.
On Nov. 19, Meagher stopped a vehicle in the 100 block of Kessler for speeding in a school zone.
On Nov. 19, McFadden stopped a vehicle in the 200 block of Schultz for illegal tint. Officer smelled marijuana and performed a search. A warning was issued for unauthorized glass coating material.
On Nov. 19, Parkinson stopped a vehicle for speeding in the 800 block of Kessler. Driver was going 53 in a 30.
On Nov. 19, Parkinson issued a citation for a driver going 47 in a 30 in the 800 block of Kessler.
On Nov. 19, Parkinson issued a citation for vehicle going 50 in a 30 in the 800 block of Kessler.
On Nov. 19, Parkinson issued a warning to individual going 45 in a 30 mph in the 800 block of Kessler.
On Nov. 19, Parkinson stopped a vehicle for speeding in the 800 block of Kessler. Citation issued for going 50 mph in a 30.
On Nov. 19, Parkinson stopped a vehicle in the 800 block of Kessler for going 50 in a 30 mph zone. Citation issued.
On Nov. 19, Parkinson stopped a vehicle for driving 47 in a 30. Driver also had a defective right headlight. Citations were issued. Miscellaneous
On Nov. 14, Kalina responded to the 200 block of South for loud music. Officer spoke to the band and they agreed to turn it down.
On Nov. 14, Vincent was dispatched to the 1000 block of Kessler for loud noise. Officer was unable to locate anything.
On Nov. 15, McFadden responded to the 800 block of Kessler for oversized load stuck at the underpass.
On Nov. 17, Vincent took a call from an individual needing gas money. After learning the woman lived in Schulenburg they informed her they do not help with that. If they were traveling through they would help.
On Nov. 19, McFadden was dispatched to the 200 block of Schultz for a reckless driver.
