Rural Non-Profit Networking Group Holds Inaugural Celebration of Philanthropy

The Rural Nonprofit Networking Group held their inaugural Celebration of Philanthropy on Dec. 8. The appreciation brunch, sponsored by the 1860 Event Venue, was hosted by the Fayette Community Foundation to celebrate the local nonprofits who do so much good in our rural area and their philanthropic champions who demonstrate outstanding generosity and community leadership.

The inaugural celebration was attended by representatives of over 20 different organizations and included brunch, drinks, and much deserved self-care stations provided by local businesses. Hardworking nonprofit staff and volunteers were treated to chair massages, injectable vitamins, baked goods, music, gift bags full of local coupons, and fellowship in the beautiful venue overlooking the La Grange square. Appreciation goes to all sponsors of the event: Fayette Community Foundation, The 1860 Event Venue, Bodega Wine Market, Latte Café La Grange, Vertiglow Wellness & Aesthetics Studio, Hayleigh Anderson Chair Massages, Thrivent Financial, Jay Dee’z Sports Grill, and Tune Up Manly Salon La Grange.

The Rural Non-Profit Networking Group (RNNG) is an opportunity for the organizations in our rural communities to convene monthly, share their missions and visions, discuss community needs and partnership opportunities, bring in experts to facilitate growth and professionalism, and simply connect to maximize the efficiency and impact that participants can bring to Fayette, Colorado, Lavaca and surrounding counties.
