Rural Non-Profit Networking Group To Discuss Creating Community Partnerships
The Rural Non-Profit Networking Group would like to invite all non-profit organizations interested in exploring and cultivating community partnerships to join them at their next gathering on Wednesday, Oct. 13 beginning at 10 a.m. at the Jack & Mary’s in Schulenburg (610 Lyons Ave, Schulenburg).
This gathering is being hosted by Cindy Villareal, Executive Director of Navidad Valley Community Connections. The topic is “Your First 90 days on the Job.” Attendees will discuss the needs of a new executive manager walking into a new, non-profit organization. Issues addressed might include, but not be limited, to: What key documents should you have at your fingertips? What documents will you need for grant writing? Are key documents safe and secure?
Cindy Villarreal brings over 25 years of non-profit management experience to our area and she is always willing to share and develop others. She has started a non-profit organization in her lifetime that remains open and is providing services to this day. She has also worked at top levels with a national organization, and with various audiences such as Native Americans, Military Services, and small, rural communities, to help local nonprofits maintain and manage their organizations well. Cindy is always smiling and reflects a positive attitude for the missiondriven work she does each day at the Navidad Valley Community Connections Senior Center in Schulenburg, Texas.
The Rural Non-Profit Networking Group (RNNG) is an opportunity for the organizations that do so much good in our rural communities to share their missions and visions, discuss community needs and partnership opportunities, bring in experts to facilitate growth and professionalism, and simply connect to maximize the efficiency and impact that participants can bring to Fayette, Colorado, Lavaca and surrounding counties.
