RT Family Library Announces 2022 Chili Cook-Off Winners

A total of 19 chili teams signed up with locals and visitors coming out and tasting chili at the annual Round Top Family Library Chili Cook-off family fun event. The weather was crisp and cool with beautiful blue skies.

Live music was provided by the Black Cat Choir and there was an awesome live auction. Heather Kaspar was the auctioneer with a kids fun table, the children decorated aprons, chefs hats, baseball caps, beaded bracelets/necklaces and colored with chalks and shopped at the book sale table.

Winners of the 17th Annual Round Top Chili Cook-off winners were: 1st place, Best Overall Chili; 2nd place, Notorious P.I.B.; and 3rd place, Campaign Chili. People’s Choice Chili and Golden Spoon Award winner were the Bybee Cookers and the Best Showmanship were the Cellar Dwellars.

The Round Top Family Library appreciates all the volunteers. The Library could not have made this event happen without them and all the support from the community and visitors. All proceeds are used to fund the annual operating expenses of the Round Top Family Library.
