Round Top Music Festival Continues this Weekend

Enjoy Chamber Music Concerts this weekend at Festival Hill Concert Hall at 1:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m., and a Texas Festival Orchestra at 7:30 p.m. Music continues throughout the week. The Best of the 2021 Chamber Music Program will be Friday, July 16 at 7:30 p.m., followed by the Closing Chamber Music Concert Saturday, July 17 at 3:30 p.m., and the Texas Festival Orchestra Closing Concert at 7:30 p.m. For more information, visit festivalhill.org.

Music by the Skaggs Brothers

Saturday, July 10 enjoy music by the Skaggs Brothers 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Round Top Christian Fellowship. The music will be performed outside under the pavilion. Round Top Family Library

Round Top Family Library’s garden workday will be Monday, July 12 from 8-10 a.m. All are welcome and no experience is necessary Contact the library at (979) 249-2700 for more information.

Next week’s Kids S.E.E. program will feature Storyteller Ramblin’ Rita Thursday, July 15 at 3 p.m. She’ll entertain young and old as she tells tall tales about the wild west and shares some silly songs. This is a free program open to the public. Please bring your own picnic blanket or lawn chair.

Winedale Talk

The next online Winedale talk will be on Saturday, July 17, at noon. Thadious Polasek, Blinn College instructor and the Schulenberg librarian, will present Texas Czech Communities: Echos of the Homeland. He will discuss the arrival and impact on Texas by the Czech. Monday Night Social

The Round Top Rifle Hall’s Monday Night Social takes place on the first through fourth Mondays of the month from 5:30-8 p.m. at the Round Top Rifle Hall. Round Top C of C Meeting

Round Top Town Council

The Town of Round Top Town Council meets on the second Monday of each month at 6 p.m. at the Town Hall Courthouse, 100 Main Street. If you have any questions, email: TownClerk@rttx.us.

School Registration

If you plan on sending your child to Round Top – Carmine ISD this coming school year, please don’t forget online registration. All returning and new students will need to fill out the information. Visit rtcisd.net for more information.

Bethlehem Lutheran Church

Bethlehem Lutheran Church holds services with Pastor John David Nedbalek Sundays at 9:30 a.m. Holy Communion is celebrated using individual, prepackaged units. There will be a Church Council meeting after the service on Sunday, July 11. Rug Hookers meet at 10 a.m. Monday, July 12 and Sewing Circle will meet at 9 a.m. Tuesday, July 13. Adult Bible study classes are held the first Wednesday of each month at 7 p.m. in the Educational Building.

City of Refuge Church
