Round Top Happenings this Weekend

Friday, Oct. 10 is the Warrenton Wine Walk, “Boots, Bubbles & Bandanas” at Henkel Square Market, Wild Wild West at Ellis Motel, Pixie and the Moon Vintage Fashion Show at Cisco Village, and a Meet and Greet with baseball legend Roger Clemons at The Arbors.

Saturday, Oct. 11 is the Junk Gypsy Junk-O-Rama Prom (sold out for the year), and Pooky Pool Party at Red Antler Bungalows.

Sunday, Oct. 12 is Designer Day at the Big Red Barn, a wine tasting at Blue Hills, and a special “Sip & Shop” event in Henkel Square with the Cowboy Couture Fashion Show.

Monday, Oct. 13 is opening day for The Big Red Barn, book signings at Red Antler Bungalows, and a coveted “PaperCity Designer Dinner” at The Halles. This dinner requires tickets, so get yours in advance.

Tuesday, Oct. 14 is Marburger Farms opening day, which means tons of shopping, and special designer events throughout the day. There is also a late-night luxury shopping event at Henkel Square, and Zapp Hall’s 80’s Night.

Wednesday, Oct. 15 Garden & Gun returns to Round top for cocktails and pop-up shopping at Red Antler, a special ticketed dinner event at Blue Hills, at the 550 Market Red Carpet Fashion Show.

Thursday, Oct. 16 is the Zapp Hall Prom featuring a “Viva Zapp Hall” Vegas theme.

Friday, Oct. 18 is the Urban Cowboy party at Round Top Dance Hall.

Round Top Wine Fest is coming up Oct. 31 – Nov.

Browse the site and order directly from the vendor. Deadline is Oct. 10. Merchandise will be delivered to each campus by Oct. 24.

Students have a holiday on Oct. 13. Save the date for the annual Fall Festival on Oct. 18. Red Ribbon Week is Oct. 27-31. An early release is set for Friday, Oct. 31.

Festival Hill 

It seems like a busy time of year for everyone – there is a great lineup for Festival Hill through the end of the year. The Houston Brass Band will perform this Saturday at 3 p.m. The next Volunteer Day is Saturday, Nov. 1. If you plan on participating, please register so they have a lunch count.

Round Top Film Festival The second-annual Round Top Film Festival opens Thursday, Nov. 6. This event runs through Sunday, Nov. 9 and showcases a lineup of full-length features, documentaries, shorts, and more. Find more information at roundtopfilmfest. org.

Sounds of the Season 

December brings back Sounds of the Season, featuring the Blinn College Wind Symphony and Choirs. The Nutcracker Ballet is back Saturday, Dec. 13 – get your tickets now before they sell out – because they will.

Round Top Rifle Hall 

Round Top Rifle Hall Monday night hamburger socials are the first, second and third Mondays of each month. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. The 13th Annual OktoBierFest is coming up Saturday, Oct. 25. The day begins with the official keg tapping at 12 p.m.

St. Martin’s Catholic Church St. Martin’s Catholic Church in Warrenton will not have an October Mass. Visit stjohnfayetteville.com/st-martin.

Bethlehem Lutheran Church Bethlehem Lutheran Church meets for worship Sundays at 9:30 a.m. You can also watch the service on their YouTube channel found at https://tinyurl.com/yc77f2vj at 9:30 a.m. Enjoy a Gospel Music Festival Sunday, Oct. 26 from 2-6 p.m. Bring your chairs and picnic dinners to enjoy a great fall afternoon listening to Gospel music.

St. Paul Lutheran Church St. Paul Lutheran Church in Shelby services are at 8 a.m. Fellowship, coffee, and Sunday School follow at 9:30 a.m. Game Day is held the first Wednesday at 2 p.m. Quilting is held the third Wednesday at 8:30 a.m.

Reformation Sunday worship is Oct. 26 at Lutherhill. No service in Shelby that weekend.

St. John’s Warrenton 

St. John’s is part of the Shared Lutheran Ministry of Fayette County. They meet for Sunday Worship at 8:30 a.m.

RT Christian Fellowship Round Top Church meets at 8:45 a.m. for Bible Study, followed by a 10 a.m. service.

Enjoy an evening filled with inspiring music, joyful hearts, and good company. Friday, Oct. 10 from 7-9 p.m., enjoy live music by The Skaggs Brothers. This Country Gospel night is the perfect way to unwind, connect, and lift your spirit through the power of song. This event will be held under the pavilion at 440 E. Mill Street in Round Top.

St. Cecilia’s Episcopal Church Services are held Sunday mornings at 8:45 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. in the Haw Creek Chapel in Henkel Square.
