Rosharon Woman Arrested For Felony Possession

Fayette County Sheriff Keith Korenek reports on Wednesday, July 7 around 1 a.m. Deputy Dustin Kieschnick conducted a traffic stop on a Mercedes passenger car on St. Highway 71 eastbound near Trinity School Rd.

Upon contact with the occupants of the vehicle, the report said, Kieschnick detected the odor of marijuana emitting from the vehicle. The report said the female driver admitted to having marijuana in the vehicle and allowed the search of the vehicle.

A small bag of marijuana was located in the vehicle along with a vape pen with what is believed to contain THC oil in the pen and a stack of US currency, which totaled $4,005.

The driver, identified as 20-year-old Macy Layne Witt-Nobles of Rosharon, was arrested and transported to the Dan R. Beck Justice Center and charged with felony possession of a controlled substance. The vehicle was released to the male passenger in the car.
