Ripkyn Kuecker Baptized at Martin Luther Lutheran
Ripkyn Kuecker, daughter of RaChelle and Clint Kuecker, was baptized at Martin Luther Lutheran Church on March 20 by the Rev. David Tinker. Her sponsors are Shelley Scheffer, Shayne Kirts, Shelby Vaughn, Gary Bolcerek, and Ron Kuecker.
RT-C School News
Round Top-Carmine High School baseball team hosts Fayetteville April 9 at 4:30 p.m. They host Richards April 13 also at 4:30 p.m.
Fourth graders will take the STAAR writing test on April 6.
There will be a modified Kindergarten Roundup on April 21 at the elementary school from 5-6 p.m. Children who plan to attend Kindergarten at RT-C for the 2021-2022 school year are invited to attend. Parents should bring their completed enrollment packet, along with all required documents at this time. Enrollment packets are available for download on the rtcisd. net website under the Parent/Student Resources tab. (https://www.rtcisd.net/domain/171) There is also a check off list for the documents needed for enrollment.
Families will be required to stay in their cars, and wear face coverings. The kindergarten teacher will visit with parents in their car. Please be patient. Packets will be checked by school staff while parents and their student(s) meet with the Kindergarten teacher. Tours of the campus will not be available during the roundup. Children who will be five years of age on or before Sept. 1, 2021 are eligible for enrollment in the kindergarten class for the 2021-2022 school year.
Pre-kindergarten registration begins after April 1. These students must be 4 years of age by Sept. 1, 2021 and meet certain criteria. Check the website listed above for more details.

Carmine Volunteer Fire Department Drill Night is April 8 at 7 p.m. Regular meeting night is April 22.

Confirmation class meets Wednesday at 4:15 p.m.
Rebekah Group meeting is Thursday at 2 p.m.
Saturday worship with Holy Communion is at 6 p.m.
Sunday worship with Holy Communion at 10 a.m. in the sanctuary. Praise Team leads songs and the Noisy Offering, which is designated for the AMEN food pantry and Burton Bridge Ministry food pantry, will be collected. The property and Christian education committees meet after worship.

Quilting for Lutheran World Relief is Monday at 9 a.m.
Recycling Trailer
The recycling trailer is at the Carmine Hall on Thursdays from noon until 4 p.m.
Dry newspapers, telephone books, magazines, cardboard, paper, junk mail, clean #1 and #2 food grade plastics (milk cartons should be separated from other plastic), all colors glass, steel food cans, and aluminum cans are accepted. It is very helpful to have the recycled items separated. Attendants are available to help unload.
They kindly ask that you please wait to drop off items when they are open.
The trailer is in Ledbetter from 8:30-11 a.m., also on Thursdays, behind the Ledbetter Fireman’s Hall.
Visitors’ Center
Carmine Chamber of Commerce Visitors’ Center at the restored Train Depot is open on the second and fourth Fridays and Saturdays of the month from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
