Pastor John David Nedbalek lead the Bible study about Advent, which is a Christian season of prayer, reflection, and joyful anticipation leading up to Christmas. “Despite the commercial rush to Christmas, Advent creates space for us to slow down and ponder God’s hopes for the world and align our lives with his vision.” We are all reminded to find time during these days of Advent to rest, be still, dream, imagine, listen to what God wants to tell us, and hear where He is guiding us. Submitted by Sherry Pennington.
