Record Spends a Summer in the Far East

Jane Griffith, 16, travelled to Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Japan this summer, spending six weeks in Singapore in a language immersion program studying Mandarin Chinese. She brought the Fayette County Record with her. She chose the issue reporting encounters with the new pope, as his selection brought her a lot of joy.
