Quilt Walk

The Quilt Walk on the Square will be held on Saturday, Feb. 27 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Quilt Walk will begin at the Historic Casino Hall in La Grange where you will also be able to pick up a Quilt Walk map. Quilts will be on display in numerous businesses on the Square for your viewing pleasure. Participating businesses will also have special sales and discounts on that day. Once you complete the Quilt Walk, go back to the Historic Casino Hall to be entered into a drawing for a quilt made by a local quilter. Garage Sale

The Round Top Area Historical Society is hosting their annual garage sale at 399 E. Mill St. behind the Round Top Post Office on Feb. 27 and 28 and March 6 and 7. For questions, contact Rose Diers at (713) 376-9454.

CDA Fundraiser

The Hostyn Catholic Daughters of the Americas, Court Queen of the Holy Rosary No. 2282 has rescheduled the drivethru fundraiser at the KC Hall in La Grange to Thursday, March 11 from 4 to 6 p.m. The meal will consist of chicken fried steak, buttered noodles, Mixed vegetable blend, white gravy and a roll for $10 a plate. Fish Fry

The KC Center in La Grange, located at 190 S. Brown St., will host a drive thru only fish fry dinner including buttered potatoes, pinto beans and coleslaw benefiting the La Grange Catholic Daughters of the Americas Court Annunciation No. 1962 on Friday, Feb. 26 beginning at 4:30 until 6:30 p.m. for $10 a plate.
