Produce Truck Flips

A produce truck rolled on its side in a wreck at the intersection of SH 159 and SH 71 Bypass in La Grange Monday morning, July 26.

The crash happened around 10 a.m. A box truck hauling a load of produce bound for a local restaurant was heading south on SH 159. A Ford pickup pulling a trailer loaded with another pickup was heading west on the SH 71 Access Road.

The two vehicles collided in the intersection, causing the produce truck to roll onto the passenger side. It came to rest on the passenger side facing east.

The pickup came to rest in the SH 159 turning lane facing south. No one was injured.

La Grange Police Officer Brett Meinardus investigated the crash.
