Police Have Suspect in Homicide

La Grange Police are seeking the public’s help in locating a suspect in the David Harrison Jr. homicide investigation.

Police Chief David Gilbreath reported last Thursday that La Grange Investigator Troy Stevens and Texas Ranger Brent Barina identified and obtained an arrest warrant for Charles Lee Tillman Jr., 34 of the Weimar area.

Officers found Harrison shot dead in his apartment at the River Valley Apartments on June 1. Investigators believe the shooting took place late the night before, on May 30. Harrison was 40 years old. Gilbreath said Harrison and Tillman were possibly acquaintances.
