Optimist Club Essay Winner

La Grange High School junior Ella Wick was the winner of this year’s local Optimist Club essay contest. The topic of this year’s contest was “Reaching your dreams by choosing Optimism.” She read her essay at this month’s club meeting. She is shown here receiving the $500 award for winning the local contest from Club President Quincy Hutchison. Her essay now advances on to the district contest.
