Ruth Circle Bible Study

Ruth Circle Bible study was held on July 1 featuring “Liberation is for Everyone.” This discussion covered the controversy amid the many challenging national events and racial tensions. Pastor John David Nedbalek began the lesson with a clip from MASH from March 1973. The clip showed these same types of problems during that time period. The discussion focused on the teaching that God calls everyone beyond his or her comfort zones. He gives empowerment and boldness to do difficult things and face hard truths. The study concluded with the song “Boney Fingers” by Holt Anton – things will get a little better in the morning.

Joys Baird served as hostess with a red, white and blue assortment of delicious fruits and desserts. The next Ruth Circle Bible study will be Aug. 4 at 9:30 a.m. All are invited to attend.
