Oktoberfest on the LG Square is this Saturday

Oktoberfest on the Square is just around the corner. On Saturday, October 2, from 3 p.m.-7 p.m, the Rotary Club of La Grange is ready to bring you the best event yet. Oktoberfest is all about tradition, a traveling fun festival celebrating beer and rich German social customs has been around for over 200 years and is still celebrated annually in Munich, Bavaria, Germany, and La Grange.

Packed into this year’s event are craft beer tasting, tasting from various wineries, authentic German Cuisine, local merchants, and live music. The evening’s entertainment includes the Dujka Brothers and Second Wind Band. Ticket prices include 12 samples of craft beer or wine accompanied by a commemorative beer mug or wine glass for $30. Add a scrumptious German meal to your beer/wine tastings for just $10 more to get the complete experience.

While the bands play, enjoy the flavors of pork schnitzel and sausage paired with your favorite craft beer or wine. There’s something for the kids too! Children’s activities will be provided on the courthouse lawn. It’s sure to be an evening of fun and fellowship for all who attend.
