NVCC Center to Hear From Craig Moreau

It was a good week at the senior center. NVCC had another large crowd this past Wednesday, with a total of 28, so NVCC is approaching its goal of 30 and will bring some more chairs in as the center continues grow.

Craig Moreau, Chief of Emergency Management and Homeland Security in Fayette County, is scheduled to speak to NVCC members in October. NVCC would like for as many members as possible to know about and attend this session with Craig Moreau. After Craig’s presentation, there will be some bingo playing, with Cindy Villarreal and CarolAnn Thacker.

Make plans with your friends to come by the Center on a Thursday morning for leisurely chats, play a game or two, and maybe plan to bring a lunch with you all, or maybe plan to stop somewhere in town for lunch on the way home with friends or, heck, you might want to get back home to your lunch before the heat of the day sets in. Community Time – anyone is welcome to come in, while they get out of the house, run errands, get in out of the heat, and stop in for a quick visit to see what’s going on and who else is out and about.
