November 4 Election Sample Ballots

On Nov. 4, 2025, voters in Texas will decide on 17 proposed amendments to the Texas Constitution. The ballot includes measures related to taxes, public safety, education funding, voting rules, and a new dementia research institute. Some propositions address tax matters, including potential exemptions for capital gains, animal feed, business personal property, and homes destroyed by fire. Other tax-related items include changes to school district exemptions for elderly and disabled homeowners and the general homestead exemption, as well as a property tax exemption for landowners installing border security infrastructure. Public safety measures include potential changes to bail in certain felony cases and sanctions for judges. There are also propositions concerning funding for the Texas State Technical College System, a Texas Water Fund, and the creation of a Dementia Prevention and Research Institute. This ballot also show a taxing vote for Fayetteville ISD voters.

Early Voting is at the County Elections office at 275 Ellinger Rd. in La Grange – Monday, October 20, 2025 through Friday, October 24, 2025 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m; Monday, October 27, 2025 through Wednesday, October 29, 2025 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Thursday, October 30, 2025 through Friday, October 31, 2025 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Election Day is November 4, 2025 with voting from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at precincts around the county.
