Mostly Incumbents Filing for School Board Places So Far

The school board elections take place on Saturday, May 1 along with the municipal elections. The deadline to file for a place on one of the five school boards here in Fayette County is Friday, Feb. 12 at 5 p.m. Several people, mostly incumbents, have already filed.

Fayetteville

Incumbents Place 2 Dawn Supak and Place 6 Vincent Orsak are both up for re-election and both have filed for a place on the board again. No one else has yet to file.

La Grange

In La Grange, Place 6 Dr. Kari Brawley and Place 7 Dr. Karen Roberts are both up for re-election. Both incumbents have filed for a place on the board again. No one else has yet to file.

Schulenburg

Two seats on the at-large Schulenburg School Board are up for re-election. Incumbents Mike Zweschper and Mike Demel have not filed. No one else has yet to file.

Round Top-Carmine

The Round Top-Carmine School Board has just had filings of incumbents: Place 1 Calvin Krause, Place 2 Al Gross, Place 6 Jason Wagner, and Place 7 Clint Eilers.

Flatonia

In Flatonia, two new people have filed for seats on the school board. For Place 6 Regina Ibarra-Pavlica has filed and Blanca Toro has filled for Place 7. Place 6 incumbent Jacob Bass has filed now under Jake Bass and Place 7 incumbent Robby Wehmeyer has yet to file.
