Morgan Elizabeth Heine and Colton Bubela were united in marriage at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 24, 2021 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Weimar. Father Wayne Flagg officiated. A reception, dinner and dance with live music by Broken Alibi of Hallettsville immediately followed at the Schulenburg Hall in Schulenburg.
Morgan is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Heine of Rosanky. Colton is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Bubela of Schulenburg.
Maid of Honor was Macy Heine. Bridesmaids were Allison Abendroth, Kenzie Walker, Haley Herrera, Brianna Kobersky, Keegan Hudec, Haylie Adams, Reilly Maverick, and Alyson Hudec. Best men were Garrett Evans and Jonathan Sirilo. Groomsmen were Chip Bubela, Chad Bubela, Scott Stoner, Laine Brown, Mason Florus, Hayden Besetzny, Wade Dillenbeck and Jacob Langhamer.
The bride is a graduate of La Grange High School in La Grange. She received her Bachelor’s degree from Tarleton State University in Stephenville, and her Master’s degree from Texas Women’s University in Houston. She is a Registered Occupational Therapist employed by the Colorado River Cooperative as a school-based therapist.
The groom is a graduate of Schulenburg High School in Schulenburg. He received his Bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University in College Station. He is the owner and operator of Bubela Tree Farm and Arbor Care in Schulenburg.
Following a honeymoon to the Dominican Republic, the couple is making their home in Schulenburg.
