Merritt Running for Fayetteville Council

Hello all. My name is Glenda Sue Merritt and I am running for the City of Fayetteville City Council Place IV I have been a small part of this wonderful community for almost 13 years. I work full time at Fayetteville ISD in the cafeteria, where my son also attends. I am also a Chef at The Wine Bar at The Grand Fayette Hotel right on the historic town square. My husband, Sean Merritt, is a member of our Volunteer Fire Department I chose to run for city council to ensure the future of our town for the younger generations. Every day I have the opportunity to interact with the future of our community. I want our small town to be a place where they choose to raise their families and have the privilege of being a part of history. Even though my small family made the choice to move here only a while ago, I have never felt like I could call a town HOME more than Fayetteville. I hope you vote for me as your Representative on the City’s Council so I can help keep making Fayetteville the wonderful community that it has been to me and my family.
