Schulenburg-area veterans organizations held their annual Memorial Day Service on Monday, May 31. James Brossmann of the Schulenburg Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5623 served as the master of ceremonies. He is pictured below, left, saluting the memorial grave. Fayette County Judge and retired Marine Corps General Joe Weber was the guest speaker.
