Locals Pass Out 7,813 Lbs. of Food in Waldeck

An army of local volunteers passed out 7,813 pounds of food to those in need Saturday Aug. 15 in the parking lot of the Waldeck Church as part of the Central Texas Food Bank’s monthly distribution there. That day’s work helped 91 households representing 226 people. The excess food was taken to the AMEN Food Pantry.
