LGPD Report: Electricity Theft Via Cord

La Grange Police David Gilbreath reports on the following incidents his department responded to during the week of Oct. 12-19.

Accident

On Oct. 13, Officer Brett Meinardus responded to an accident in the 300 block of Diers Lane.

On Oct. 14, Meinardus responded to the 100 block of W. Travis for a minor accident.

On Oct. 14, Sgt. Mitchell Maxwell was dispatched to the 100 block of FM 609 regarding an accident.

Animal Complaint

On Oct. 12, Officer Darrell Armstead was dispatched to the 100 block of E. Walnut for an animal complaint.

Abandoned Vehicle

On Oct. 13, Meinardus responded to the 100 block of East St. Hwy. 71 Bypass for an abandoned 18-wheeler blocking a drive. The vehicle was towed.

Burglary

On Oct. 15, Officer Steven Haynie was dispatched to the 1400 block of State Hwy. 71 Business for a burglary of a business.

Child Locked in Vehicle

On Oct. 15, Armstead was dispatched to the 100 block of N. Main for a child locked in a vehicle.

City Ordinance Violation On Oct. 15, Haynie was dispatched to the 700 block of N. Washington regarding a city ordinance violation, burning. Civil Matter

On Oct. 17, Meinardus responded to the 200 block of Northwest Circle for a dispute with a caretaker.

Criminal Mischief

On Oct. 12, Officer Armstead was dispatched to the 2000 block of W. State Hwy. 71 Business for criminal mischief.

Disturbance

On Oct. 13, Meinardus responded to the 700 block N. Washington for a disturbance.

On Oct. 18, Meinardus responded to the 200 block of W. Travis for a disturbance on the square.

Juvenile Complaint

On Oct. 17, Officer Jeffrey Archerd responded to the 500 block of N. Monroe for a juvenile complaint.

Loud Music

On Oct. 14, Archerd was notified of loud music in the 300 block of S. Jackson.

Motorist Assist

On Oct. 17, Meinardus responded to the 900 block of E. Travis for a car broke down in a lane of traffic.

Public Intoxication

On Oct. 19, Officer Jose Garza was dispatched to the 1000 block of N. Horton in reference to a possibly intoxicated subject.

Trespassing

On Oct. 14, Garza was dispatched to the 1900 block of W. State Hwy. 71 Business for a criminal trespass warning.

On Oct. 15, Haynie was dispatched to the 500 block of N. Sarah Jo regarding trespassing.

On Oct. 19, Meinardus responded to the 1900 block of W. State Hwy. 71 Business for criminal trespass.

Terroristic Threat

On Oct. 19, Meinardus responded to the 1400 block of W. Hwy. 71 Business for caller that advised he was threatened with a knife by an unknown subject.

Theft

On Oct. 19, Meinardus responded to the 600 block of N. Washington where a caller reported that neighbors ran an extension cord to an outdoor plug on his gazebo. Officer unplugged the cord then advised them that the homeowner did not want them using the plug.

Unauthorized Use of Vehicle On Oct. 16, Haynie was dispatched to the 100 block of W. Travis regarding the unauthorized use of a vehicle.

Welfare Check

On Oct. 14, Meinardus responded to the 500 block of S. Madison for a welfare check.

On Oct. 19, Meinardus responded to the 200 block of Lee Street for a welfare concern.
