LGISD Hires New Band Director

La Grange Independent School District made two hires and accepted two resignations at Monday’s meeting.

The board hired Christopher Cooper as the school’s new head band director. He had previously been the head band director at Big Lake Reagan County High School.

Jennifer Pizzitola, a former LHS grad, was hired as an elementary teacher.

The board also accepted resignations from Lee Hartsell of the Colorado Valley Co-op and Euan Blackmon, high school science teacher. – Jeff Wick
