LG Uncorked Will Be Popping Into 2022

Going into its ninth year, La Grange Uncorked has become a staple event in the downtown historic district. On average, 15 different wineries set up tasting locations in various boutiques and businesses on the Square. This year, ticket holders will be exposed to a variety of choices to sample from locally made mead to aged to perfection merlots. Not only is the selection of wine something to brag about but let’s not forget the one-of-akind gems that can be found on the Square.

The variety of downtown boutiques lends itself to providing numerous shopping opportunities to find those unique treasures. La Grange has everything from antique dealers to a gourmet kitchen shoppe to one of a kind handcrafted jewelry. There is literally something for everyone.

This event is hosted by the City of La Grange’s Main Street program and funds generated from ticket sales support a variety of annual programs including the summer series of Movie Nights on the Square and Schmeckenfest – La Grange’s Christmas and Wassail tasting extravaganza.

The 2022 event will take place on Saturday, Feb. 12 from 3 p.m.-7 p.m. Ticket holders will be able to enjoy high-quality live music while sitting on the Fayette County Courthouse lawn under the big Texas oak trees.

If you are a dedicated wine afficionado, then this is for you. There will be a special prize drawing for those who sample wine from each of the wineries participating in La Grange Uncorked. All completed punch cards must be returned to the registration tent in order to be entered into the drawing.

We’re rounding out this year’s La Grange Uncorked with a tasty meal option. This is a newly added feature to the event and a welcomed partnership with one of the most unique local catering establishments in the area.

The popularity of this event is evident in the sellouts in both 2019 and 2020. Tickets are limited to 400 due to the goal of offering a more intimate wine stroll that you can take your time to enjoy and savor the memories.
