LG Man Arrested on Drug Charges

La Grange Police arrested a local man for drug possession and driving without a valid license on Tuesday, May 4.

According to a report from Police Chief David Gilbreath, Officer John Wostarek stopped a 2010 Harley Davidson motorcycle in the 1900 block of State Highway 159 on Tuesday. Gilbreath said the driver, 40-year-old Floyd Darling of La Grange, did not have a valid drivers license.

While arresting Darling, Wostarek searched Darling and found 1.3 grams of methamphetamine in Darling’s front pants pocket.

Wostarek transported Darling to the Dan R. Beck Justice Center in La Grange, where he was booked on charges of driving without a valid license and possession of a controlled substance.
