Last-Minute Personnel Changes Made

There are some new faces, some returning, and some leaving for the 2026-27 school year at LGISD. Barry Donovan had previously resigned and is now returning as a high school teacher/coach and educational aide. Also, Randall Goode had resigned and is now returning as an elementary teacher/coach. Brittany Herdler is transferring from elementary school educational aide to elementary special education teacher.

New professional hires include Derek Lewis - elementary teacher/coach, Jamie Lusk - high school English teacher, and Kellie Nicely 5th grade teacher.

Paraprofessional hires include Marti Kinsey - high school educational aide, Kirstin Peterson - high school registrar, Meredith Sobel - middle school educational aide, Leslie Soto elementary educational aide, and Brazos Vick - elementary educational aide.

Scott Herron transferred from bus operator to bus shop/ operator (year round position) and Victoria Staal transferred from middle school educational aide to high school educational aide.

Resignations were received from the following professional staff: Kelly Haas - high school ag science teacher, Madison Oltmann elementary teacher, and Kari Willrich - school nurse.

Resignations were received from the following paraprofessional staff: Christina Boyd - bus shop/operator, Cheri Demel - elementary educational aide, and Alecia Woolen middle school/high school food service worker.
