Landscape, Garden Seminar Feb. 5

An organic landscape and garden seminar will take place at Casino Hall in La Grange on Saturday, Feb. 5. The event takes place from 8 a.m. to noon.

Learn how to grow the most successful, tastiest and healthiest food and have magnificent lawns, trees, shrubs and gardens Feb. 5. Join for coffee, kolaches, handouts, samples and meet the local organic community at this half day event at the Historic Casino Hall on Jefferson Street. Speakers include Mike Serant, owner of MicroLife, who will talk about creating successful Organic lawn and garden programs; and John Ferguson, owner of Natures Way Resources, who will talk about soils, mulches & compost. The seminar will also feature Brianne Bernsen, owner of Plum Fabulous Foods, who will talk about growing nutrient dense veggies; and Brian Russ of Sustainable Growth TX, who will talk about how to cowboy up your microbes.
