La Grange Roadrunners Square Dance Club Dancing Once Again

In February 2020 the La Grange Roadrunners Square Dance Club held our last graduation class and then we had to stop dancing due to the COVID-19 situation.

The La Grange Roadrunners Square Dance Club has finally been able to get back to dancing each Tuesday night.

The club was out of pocket for over sixteen months due to the health situation and hopes it can continue now without so many problems.

In February 2020, the club held its last graduation class and then had to stop dancing due to the COVID-19 situation. The picture below includes all of the last class graduates.

Now, the club is going to hold another class for anyone who would like to learn to square dance. This year the club is also offering dancers a chance to learn to round dance too. The fun night will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 28 starting at 6 p.m. for rounds and 7 p.m. for square dancing. Meet at the Randolph Recreation Center in La Grange. This will be the night that that will introduce people to some of the fun that several members have been enjoying for many years now. If you can walk, you can square dance. Good exercise, lots of fun and great enjoyment to be had by all.

The club members invite you to come out and see for yourself what square dancing is all about. After the night of fun classes will begin on Tuesday, Oct. 5.
