La Grange Police Respond to Burglaries
La Grange Police Chief David Gilbreath reports on the following incidents his department responded to during the week of Oct. 17-24.
Animal Complaint
On Oct. 18, Meinardus responded to the 900 block of Mode Ln. where caller stated that a subject’s dog attacked and injured his girlfriend. The subject was cited for not having his dogs on a leash.
On Oct. 19, Animal Control Officer Dean Ahlschlager followed up on a dog bite in the 500 block of W. Lowerline. Dog had all shots and rabies up to date.
On Oct. 21, Ahlschlager checked on dogs in the 100 block of Laure Ln.
Accident
On Oct. 17, Patrolman David Mohr Mohr responded to the intersection of FM 609 and Hwy. 71 Business for a lost load on vehicle.
On Oct. 20, Mohr responded to the 900 block of Country Club Dr. for a minor traffic accident.
On Oct. 21, Mohr responded to the 100 block of E. Colorado for a minor two-vehicle accident.
On Oct. 23, Patrolman Mitchell Maxwell was dispatched to the 100 block of N. Main for a two-vehicle accident. A citation was issued.
Burglary
On Oct. 17, Patrolman Kevin Currington was dispatched to the 400 block of N. 3rd Alley for burglary.
On Oct. 23, Patrolman John Wostarek was dispatched to he 400 block of N. 3rd Alley in regard to a burglary.
Civil Matter
On Oct. 19, Wostarek spoke with subjects in the 2100 block of W. Sedan on a civil matter.
On Oct. 20, Wostarek was dispatched to the 300 block of S. College in regard to a civil matter.
On Oct. 20, Currington was dispatched to the 700 block of E. Pearl in reference to a civil matter.
On Oct. 20, Wostarek spoke with subjects on a civil matter in the 200 block of S. College.
Criminal Trespass
On Oct. 21, Currington responded to the 900 block of S. Madison in reference to possible criminal mischief.
Disturbance
On Oct. 17, Mohr received a call of two people arguing in the cemetery in the 100 block of S. Lester. Officer arrived and both parties had separated over a labor dispute.
On Oct. 20, Currington was dispatched to the 300 block of Woodhollow for a possible disturbance. Officer checked the area and knocked on several doors but was unable to locate.
On Oct. 21, Meinardus responded to the 900 block of S. Jefferson where caller stated that he was having a heated argument with his adult son, but no physical abuse occurred. The subject left the location before police arrived.
Possession
On Oct. 19, Patrolman Robin Emmons responded to the 800 block of S. Vail for a juvenile in possession of a cake vape and tested positive for THC.
Suspicious Vehicle/Person
On Oct. 20, Mohr received a call of a suspicious vehicle that ran into a yard in the 200 block of Ellinger
On Oct. 20, Meinardus received a call of a dark colored truck driving up and down the 200 block of Cynthia yelling and honking at neighbors. Officer upon arrival, the vehicle was gone. Officer spoke with the homeowner that stated he saw the truck but did not know who it was.
On Oct. 21, Wostarek checked on a suspicious vehicle in the 1500 block of N. Jefferson.
On Oct. 22, Wostark was dispatched to the 100 block of N. Monroe in regard to two suspicious subjects. Officer arrived on location and searched the area. Officer was unable to locate any subjects in the area.
On Oct. 23, Wostarek was dispatched to the 200 block of S. Ellinger in regard to a subject walking in the road. Officer upon arrival could not locate anyone.
