The La Grange Noon Lions Club has made a heartfelt donation to the Fayette County Sheriff’s Department Deputy Santa Program in honor of longtime member and past president, Lion Dick Frenzel.

Lion Frenzel, who passed away earlier this year, was deeply devoted to Fayette County and had a special place in his heart for the Deputy Santa Program. The program’s mission of bringing joy and holiday gifts to children and families in need reflected Frenzel’s own spirit of service and compassion.

The donation check was presented by Lions Zone Chair Craig Moreau to the Fayette County Sheriff’s Department on behalf of the La Grange Noon Lions Club.

“Lion Dick loved this community and believed in doing whatever he could to make it better,” said Craig Moreau of the La Grange Noon Lions Club. “This donation is our way of honoring his memory and continuing the work he cared about so much. He was a special friend and an outstanding man.”

The La Grange Noon Lions Club’s contribution will help the Deputy Santa Program continue providing toys, clothing, and essential items to local children during the holiday season. The Club encourages others in the community to follow Lion Frenzel’s example by supporting programs that give back to Fayette County families.

Though greatly missed, Lion Frenzel’s legacy of kindness, generosity, and community service lives on through the many lives he touched, and through efforts like this one, which carry forward his passion for helping others.
