La Grange Gym Vandalized

Volunteers from the La Grange Optimist Club and other community members spent Tuesday and Wednesday cleaning up fire extinguisher foam from all over the court and stands of the old gym on the La Grange elementary campus. The gym floor is shown above covered with the stuff, which proved very hard to get up. The vandalism is believed to have occurred at some point Monday night after the conclusion of an Optimist basketball camp at the gym. There were some cameras around the gym that Touchet was hoping to get some more evidence from later this week.
