Kreische Brewery & Monument Hill Seek Sponsorships For Trail of Lightsc
A staple in the community since the late 1990s, Kreische Brewery & Monument Hill’s Trail of Lights is La Grange’s very own Christmas extravaganza. Throughout the years, the event has grown from an early German Christmas themed program to a 10-night festival complete with children’s activities and a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus. But with progress comes the need for upgrades to more efficient lighting, expansion of the trail, and new holiday programs.
The Friends of Kreische Brewery & Monument Hill State Historic Sites are seeking sponsorships for updates and improvements to Trail of Lights 2021. Sponsorships will support an expanded trail, new lighted displays and features, improved energy efficiency, new living history programs, additional family activities, and more. “For more than two decades Trail of Lights has been a beloved family tradition for Fayette County and beyond,” says Friends board president Katy Beauford. “This holiday event is largely made possible with the support of our community’s business, civic organizations, and citizens.” Potential sponsors are encouraged to contact the sites visitors center.
Last year’s Trail of Lights welcomed over 3,000 people to Kreische Brewery and Monument Hill, even though programming was cut back due to the coronavirus pandemic. “Through social media and other publications, we were also able to connect thousands of other Texans with our Trail of Lights programs,” says the sites manager Marsha Hendrix. As Trail of Lights has reached new audiences and increased visitation over the years, the sites seeks to add new and exciting content. “Sponsorships support updates and improvements that keep our guests coming back year after year,” adds Hendrix. Admission revenues collected during Trail of Lights are part of the Friends’ fundraising initiatives for education and historic preservation programs at Kreische Brewery and Monument Hill.
The Friends have outlined three sponsorship levels in support of Trail of Lights 2021. Gold sponsors, at $750, receive logos on event signage; recognition in print advertising, website, social media, and radio promos; and eight passes to Trail of Lights. Silver sponsors, at $500 receive their logo on event signage and website plus 6 passes to Trail of Lights; Bronze sponsors, at $250, receive recognition on event signage and website plus four passes to Trail of Lights. Additional donations from businesses and individuals are also welcomed to support nightly Trail of Lights programming. Interested parties can learn more about sponsorships by contacting the sites’ visitors center at (979)968-5658 or friendsofkreischebrewery@ gmail.com.
