KJZT St. Anne’s Society No. 10 Meets Nov. 16

The meeting of the KJZT St Anne’s Society No. 10 was called to order at 1 p.m. on Nov. 16 at St John’s Recreation Hall. President Mary Jane Toddy opened the meeting with prayers for all living members and their families and led the group in the Pledge of Allegiance.

Vice President Helen Wied reported on thank you cards received. Lois Kaspar gave the treasurer’s report and secretary Rose Rohde read the minutes from the previous meeting.

President Mary Jane Toddy and treasurer Lois Kaspar attended the one day convention in Hallettsville. Arlene Cloyd gave a report on the convention and stated that Bishop Cahill and Bishop Janak spoke at the convention and discussed the new bylaws for KJZT.

Cookbooks will be sold on the square Dec. 11 during the Fayetteville Christmas celebration.

Guest speaker was Fayetteville Mayor Stroup. Stroupspoke about upcoming events and future plans in Fayetteville.

Two transfers members, Sharon Kuehn and Sheri Kuehn, were welcomed from Society No. 14.

Rose Rohde won the attendance prize. After the closing prayer, the meeting was adjourned. Lunch and bingo followed with the next meeting being Feb. 15, 2022.
