St. Mark’s Medical Center’s (SMMC’s) Foundation representatives recently installed four new engraved memorial pavers in the hospital’s Kelley’s Healing Garden.

Since 2010, the program offers engravable pavers to memorialize or recognize a special individual, group, or even a pet. A donation of $250 for a 4” x 8” paver or $500 for an 8” x 8” paver supports ongoing efforts of SMMC’s Foundation. The pavers are installed on site.

“Donating toward these custom pavers is a wonderful opportunity that in turn helps support our facility and community,” said SMMC President and CEO Mark Kimball. “Through funds raised, the foundation generously assists our hospital in purchasing needed equipment and funding capital improvements.”

“The custom pavers are a well-loved, successful initiative for the Foundation,” said SMMC Foundation President and Board of Directors Vice Chairman, Michael Corker. “This time of year we find that they are a unique and thoughtful gift that community members enjoy purchasing. We’re told that families find it extremely heartwarming to visit Kelley’s Healing Garden and find their loved one’s name on a paver.”

For more information about purchasing custom pavers, contact Michael Corker at (979) 966-3246 or Myra Simmons, Foundation Coordinator, at (512) 922-4239. To view custom pavers in Kelley’s Healing Garden, access the garden through the hospital lobby corridor or chapel.
