‘Ice’ Skating Moved Inside by Weather

The Ice Skating Event has moved to the Randolph Recreation Center, 653 East Pearl St., La Grange, same times but, not at White Rock Park, due to bad weather forecast.

The City of La Grange and Sponsors are excited to announce. The event will take place on Friday, Dec. 17, 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 18, 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 19 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The fee to skate will be $5 per skater for a 25 minute session, with sessions being scheduled on the half and hour time slots. You may purchase tickets for skate times on a “day of ” basis – Friday for Friday; Saturday for Saturday; and Sunday for Sunday. Tickets are limited to 10 per person purchase.

Families especially the kiddos can enjoy skating, crafts, cookie decorating, games, concession and food goods, and other activities while visiting the event, plus Santa will be at the event from 5-8 p.m. daily. There will be music and a DJ in the evenings.
