Huge Oak Falls in La Grange, Crushing Two Cars

A large live oak tree at the corner of Horton St. and Fannin St. fell in the storm that passed over La Grange last Wednesday, Sept. 2. A crew from Tatonka Tree Service was on site the next morning to clean up the damage. The tree had a double trunk. It split and uprooted during the storm. Two vehicles parked in a driveway suffered major damage from the limbs that fell. Photo by Andy Behlen
