Holy Cross Lutheran Church Holds Confirmation Service Palm Sunday
Palm Sunday, March 28, was celebrated at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Warda with the confirmation of Ashton Michelle Grimm and Andrew Blake Davis. Ashton’s parents are Matthew and Kimberly Grimm and Andrew’s parents are Brooke and Christopher Kover and Toby Davis.
Birth
Congratulations to Caleb and Kyndall Tonn on the healthy arrival of their son, Koleson Layne Tonn on March 17 in College Station. Proud grandparents are LaVerne Tonn and Thomas and Bengee Trnka.
Attended Wedding
Ralph and Carolyn Bamsch of Warda and Sherry Anderson of Pflugerville attended the wedding of Emily Fraggott and Patrick Moore at Barnett Farms in Krum, Texas on Saturday, March 20. Patrick is the son of Janice Schautschick Rainey and the late Michael Moore.
Good Friday Bake Sale
Faith Lutheran High School will be having their annual Good Friday Bake Sale on April 2 at Classic Bank parking lot in Giddings starting at 8 a.m. till noon, or until sold out.
Healing Hearts Group
The Healing Hearts group will be traveling to a bluebonnet wildflower trail in Washington On The Brazos on Thursday April 8. They will meet at the church parking lot at 9 a.m. Cost is $8 ($7 for senior citizens age 65 plus) to the historical site, plus the cost of lunch in the area. Anyone is welcome to join this outing. Vacation Bible School
Vacation Bible School is scheduled for June 28-30 each evening. Registration information will be coming soon.
Bible Study
A new Bible study will be meeting each Wednesday beginning April 7 at 6:30 p.m. This will be an eleven-week course, covering the first eighteen chapters of the book of Exodus. Everyone is welcome to join as we walk along with the Israelites on their journey from Egypt to the Promised Land. Holy Cross Services
Services at Holy Cross Lutheran are Sunday at 9 a.m. Bible Class and Sunday school follows the morning service.
A Wednesday morning service will be held April 7 at 9 a.m.
Good Friday worship will be April 2 at 7 p.m.
Easter Services on Sunday April 4: Sunrise Service at 6:30 a.m. Easter breakfast at 7:30 a.m. Festival Worship with Communion at 9 a.m. Sunday School/Easter Egg Hunt at 10:00 a.m.

Sewing Circle
The sewing circle is meeting again each Thursday from 9 am to noon in the old fellowship hall. Everyone is welcome to join this group.
