Holy Cross Ladies Enjoy Bunco, Tea Party
The ladies group at Holy Cross enjoyed a fun evening last week with a Bunco/tea party. Costumes were encouraged and there were lots of great hats. Food was plentiful with a tea party themed with tea cakes, small sandwiches, scones and cookies. After several rounds of Bunco, prizes were awarded.
Holy Cross Church Picnic
Holy Cross will be having their church picnic this year. Mark your calendars for Labor Day weekend Sunday, Sept. 5. There will be lots of great barbecue, the ladies will have side dishes available and as always lots of great baked goods. An afternoon of music and a live auction are planned. Adult Fellowship
The St. Paul Lutheran Church Adult Fellowship in Serbin is having a barbecue pork steak dinner on Sunday, June 20 from 10 a.m.-noon at the Serbin picnic grounds. Only advance plates will be sold for $12 and all are to-go. If you would like to order plates, please contact Susan Michael at (979) 540-0854 or Sharon Claxton at (979) 540-7154 by June 14. All proceeds will be going toward future church/school projects.
Healing Hearts and Friends
The Healing Hearts and Friends Group in Warda is planning their next trip and it will be a visit to the Painted Churches in Fayette County. Emily Matheson is wanting to know if there is enough interest from working members to plan it on a Saturday. Please contact her if you are interested in attending or would like more information. Warda Couples Club
The Warda Couples Club would like to extend an invitation to younger couples and adults for a hamburger social on Friday, July 9 at the Holy Cross Picnic Grounds. Summer Camps
Faith Lutheran High School will offer youth summer camps this summer. Ages are for grades NEXT school year. Classes offered are: June 7-9 Volleyball (Grades 3-8) $15; June 14-16 Basketball (Grades K-8) $15; June 21-23 Art Camp (Grades K-6) $30; June 28-30 STEM Camp (Grades K-6) $30.

Camp Lost Pines
Camp Lost Pines in Warda will be hosting two shortened Summer Camps in June. Youth Camp (ages 12-17) will be June 10-13. Kids Camp (ages 7-11) will be June 17-20. Bible Study

Faith Lutheran High School
Registration is under way for the 2021-2022 school year at FLHS. If you are interested in enrolling, contact the school at (979) 242-2889 and schedule a visit. There is a scholarship program available.
Sewing Circle
The sewing circle meets each Thursday from 9 am to noon in the old fellowship hall. Everyone is welcome to join this group. You do not have to be a member of Holy Cross to join them.
