Holy Cross Ladies Aid Hears About Stamporee Project
The Lutheran World Relief Stamporee Chairman, Sara Frank, made a presentation to the Holy Cross Ladies Aid Sewing Circle on Thursday, Aug. 19. Mrs. Frank emphasized that the goal of collecting cancelled stamps is to support Lutheran World Relief’s Project Comfort, which provides funding for the shipping of quilts, kits and clothing to those in need around the world in conjunction with the Texas District LWML Vice-President for Human Care.
Start saving all cancelled postage stamps and ask your neighbors, relatives, friends and co-workers to do the same. Put your envelopes containing cancelled stamps inside the box in the back of the church or just hand them to a member of the sewing circle.
