Historical Society Preparing for Annual Sale
The Round Top Area Historical Society is now collecting donations for their annual garage sale on Feb. 13-14 and Feb. 20-21. Contact Rose Diers at (713) 376-9594 to contribute your donations for this event. Sorry, clothes or obsolete electronics are not accepted. COVID precautions will be taken to ensure that everyone has a safe experience. Furniture, household items, etc. will be for sale. The sale will take place at 399 E. Mill Street behind the Round Top Post Office.
Small School, Big Hearts
Round Top-Carmine ISD’s annual “Small School, Big Hearts” is scheduled for this Saturday at the Round Top Rifle Hall. A drive-thru will be held from 5-7 p.m. with sausage and chicken plates for $12. Chili Cook-Off Canceled
Due to COVID-19, the Round Top Family Library’s annual Chili Cook-Off was canceled this year. This annual event raises income needed to keep the library operations running for a year. Kevin Klaus Presentation
The Winedale Lunch & Learn and the Round Top Family Library FYI welcomes Kevin Klaus on Tuesday, February 16 for his presentation, “The Texas General Land Office and German-Texas Genealogy”. Bybee Library Fundraiser
The 2021 Bybee Library Fundraiser is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 13. A virtual Valentine concert will be performed by Will and Arden Lynde featuring songs of the heart. An online Adopt-A-Book program, as well as 72-hour online Library Giving Campaign will also take place. Round Top Rifle Association’s Monday Night Social takes place on the first through fourth Mondays of the month from 5:30 - 8 p.m. at the Round Top Rifle Hall.
