Healing Hearts Group Forms in Warda
A new group called, “Healing Hearts” has been formed in Warda. The goal of this group is to give members who have lost loved ones some social time with old friends and to help create some new friends.
Their first trip is planned for Saturday, Feb. 13. They will be going to the John Fairy Garden in Hempstead. This is a ten-acre garden with lots of native plants from several states. They will meet in the church parking lot at 9:30 a.m. and carpool to Hempstead. The cost of the tour is $10 and will begin at 11 a.m. They will gather for lunch at a yet to be determined location after the tour. Everyone is invited to join.
Contact Emily Matheson if you plan to attend at (979)- 250-3027 or email her at emilymatheson123@gmail.com. Also, please let her know if you are willing to drive, if necessary. In the event of inclement weather, they will still meet at the church for lunch at 11 a.m. and dine locally.
