Halloween Celebrated Here

La Grange police officer Mitchell Maxwell hands out candy during the trick-or-treat on the square event that drew thousands Thursday.

The Red & White held its 13th Annual Halloween party for well over a hundred trick-or-treaters. A steady flow of costumed children came by the Red & White Gallery and other businesses on the square to get treats handed out by local friends and neighbors, all dressed for the occasion. The annual party is part of the big Halloween celebration on Fayetteville’s Square that draws kids from around the area arriving on hayrides, trailers, and SUVs. Photo by Jerry Herring
