Gutierrez Family Finds Blue‘Print’ For Success Here
In this monthly series, local realtor Andrea Schutter Riebeling does a Q & A with local business people about what inspires them. This month’s interview is with Brandi & Fernando Gutierrez of LG Print Co.
1.) What is your business? LG Print Co LLC - The One Stop Print Shop
2.) How did you get started? We started about 10 years ago screen printing part time from our home and opened our first location back in 2019 about three doors down from where we are located now.
3.) How long have you been in business? Since 2016
4.) Is this a family or one person business? Owners are husband and wife, Fernando and Brandi Gutierrez
5.) What kind of service do you provide? Wide range of printing services. Custom screen print, apparel, embroidery, sportswear, office supplies, signs, banners, promotional products, business cards laser engraving, bulk printing, decals
6.) Tell me something unique about your business?
We started small in our home in 2016 and grew to a location on the square in 2019 and eventually purchased Hengst Printing in 2023, which had been around for 47 years, and merged our two businesses to become what we are today. It has definitely not been an easy road and has taken many late nights and weekends to make it what it is today.
7.) What is your background? Brandi was born and raised in La Grange, a true local. Fernando was born in Victoria and moved to La Grange when he was a freshman in high school. We have three wonderful children. Jolie, Raylee and Drew.
8.) What do you suggest to others who want to venture out and take a leap of action in the future of their career? Do your research, put in hard work and never give up.
9.) Do you believe in college, trade school, or any training? Definitely. College or Trade School are great opportunities to further your future if that is the path you would like to choose. Our oldest daughter is a recent graduate of Texas A&M. Or if that is not the path for you, put in the work and become the best at what you do and never let anyone tell you that you can’t do something.
10.) How did you decide to make Fayette county your home? Brandi was born in La Grange. Fernando’s family moved here because of a job opportunity for his dad. We love our small town and love to see local businesses, like our own, thrive in our community. It’s a great place to raise a family.
