Funeral Home Honoring Troops on Memorial Day

In honor of all deceased veterans of Fayette County, Koenig-Belvill Funeral Home & Cremations will be giving away United States flags to family members for their loved one’s grave on Monday, May 31 from 8 to 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home located at 208 W. Pearl St. in La Grange. There will be a limited supply, first come-first serve.

Beginning at 10 a.m. Koenig-Belvill Funeral Home & Cremations will honor our courageous troops who risked their lives for our freedom by continuing the Memorial Day tradition of retirement of the colors by the Marine Corps, placement of the new colors by the VFW Post No. 5254, and placement of the memorial wreath by the American Legion. The public is invited to join in honoring our troops on this day. We will never forget the sacrifices made by these brave men and women.
