Freyburg Hall Freedom Fest 250 Coming Up this Saturday

Dust off your running shoes, fire up those smokers, and get ready for a monumental milestone. Mark your calendars for Saturday, Sept. 12, as we come together at the historic Freyburg Hall for Freedom Fest 250.

Join us for America’s 250th Celebration in true Texas style.

It is going to be a day to remember, blending fitness, fantastic food, and phenomenal entertainment.

The Freyburg 250 Freedom Run

Kick off the morning with our 3-Mile Fun Run. Whether you are a competitive runner aiming for a new personal record or just want a scenic morning walk with the family, this run is designed for all ages and skill levels.

Registration: 8 - 8:30 a.m.

Race Begins: 9 a.m.

All-American Hootenanny Cook-Off

Calling all pitmasters and home chefs. The All American Hootenanny Freyburg Freedom Fest Cook-Off is the main culinary event. Get ready to battle it out for ultimate bragging rights.

Categories: Compete in BBQ Brisket, BBQ Ribs, BBQ Chicken, Potato Salad, BBQ Beans, or Homemade Dessert.

Entry Fee: Each culinary category requires a $25 entry fee.
