FLHS Christmas Concert Set Tuesday
Faith Lutheran High School will present a Christmas Concert “Faith at Christmas” on Tuesday, Dec. 9 at 7 p.m. in the fellowship hall. The program will consist of choir pieces, handbell pieces, hymns, scripture readings and more. Refreshments will be served following the program. Everyone is invited to attend. The event will also be streamed on Facebook.
Family Fun Night
Camp Lone Star in La Grange is hosting another great Family Fun Night on Tuesday, Dec. 11 from 5:307:30 p.m. Family Fun Nights include dinner, exciting camp activities, a Family Feud game, and a devotional. This is a great way to enjoy quality family time and connect with your kids. They are located at 2016 Camp Lone Star Rd. LaGrange. Orphan Grain Train
The Serbin Lutheran Women’s Missionary League (LWML) ladies are collecting items for Orphan Grain Train before Dec. 9. They are specifically collecting new underwear and socks (all sizes/genders), also new or gently used stuffed animals and quilts to give to those in need. St. Paul Serbin will have a Children’s Christmas Program on Wednesday, Dec. 24 at 6 p.m. The students of St. Paul Serbin will also be sharing Christmas cheer and the message of Jesus birth by Christmas caroling: Friday, Dec. 5 at First National Bank Giddings 9:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 12 at the Giddings Library 11:45 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 16 at Bec’s Blessing at 9 a.m.
Sewing Circle
The Sewing Circle meets each Thursday from 9 a.m.noon in the old parish hall at Holy Cross in Warda. (this is around the back side of the church). No experience is necessary and you do not have to be a church member to join this fun group. Contact the church office at (979) 242-3333 if you have any questions.
Game Day at Holy Cross
The next Game Day at Holy Cross in Warda will be held Thursday, Dec. 18 from noon-2 p.m. A light lunch is served. There is no cost to attend and everyone is welcome. Games of bingo and dominoes are offered.
Holy Cross Services
Services at Holy Cross Lutheran are Sunday at 9 a.m. Bible Class and Sunday school follows the morning service.
