Feed The Need Program Coming To LG Mondays Starting Jan. 25

Feed the Need Missions exists to feed people physically and spiritually.

The La Grange site will be the first in Fayette County and will be operational on all Mondays throughout the year, starting January 25. The site is at 901 Mode Lane (just across the street from the entrance to White Rock Park) serving a free hot meal from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Dine in and drive through is available, and everyone is welcome to join us for a hamburger/hot dog and to be a part of a friendly community.

“Our desire is to love others in response to the love shown us by Jesus Christ. This is accomplished by connecting the community together in Christ through a free hot meal every week (same time/ same place/ rain or shine), and we are thrilled to announce the opening of a La Grange site,” said one of the volunteers, Jeremy Finch.

“This is a relational ministry with the intent of meeting people where they are in our area to address physical, as well as, social, emotional, and spiritual needs,” Finch said. “We are simply a group of Christian volunteers from many local churches and generations coming together to reach out in service and love to our community while celebrating what the Good News of Jesus Christ means in our lives.”

The parent 501c3 organization, Feed the Need missions, based out of Bastrop, is currently operating 7 other weekly sites in central and north Texas, in addition to mobilizing for disaster relief efforts as needed.
